An eventful birthday for Vinay Rajkumar on cards with two new exciting updates

Vinay Rajkumar has a special 2022 in store. Having been away from the limelight for quite sometime, the actor has been busy cooking up a rather delectable set of releases for his fans. And his upcoming birthday on May 7 is all set to be an eventful one as not one but two exciting updates make their way out.

First up is the teaser of the period film 'Andondittu Kaala' that stars Vinay in the lead along with Aditi Prabhudeva. The film, set in the '90s, will feature him as a filmmaker while Aditi plays the role of a music student. Directed by debutant Keerthi, 'Andondittu Kaala' also has veteran actor and filmmaker V. Ravichandran playing himself in the film - the "Crazy Star" will be sharing screen space with a member of the Dr. Rajkumar family after almost two decades. The teaser of 'Andondittu Kaala' will be out on May 7th, exactly at 11:11 am.

The first single from Vinay Rajkumar's upcoming gangster film 'Pepe' too will be released on the special occasion of his birthday. The gritty drama will feature Vinay Rajkumar in a rugged avatar and the film has managed to pique the audience's interests right from the time the first look was unveiled. 'Pepe' is a period film whose narrative spans across five decades and is set against the backdrop of Coorg - Kaajal Kunder plays the female lead in the film that boasts of close to fifty characters. The first single is titled The Soul of Pepe which shall be released on PRK Audio at 4 pm on the 7th of May; Poornachandra Tejaswi has scored the film's soundtrack. 

Just as with many other members of the Dr. Rajkumar clan, Vinay Rajkumar too began his acting career as a child artist before making his bonafide debut in 2015 with Siddhartha. Despite the many knocks on his door, Vinay has been quite picky with his acting gigs and has chosen to work with fresh voices - he also plays a boxer in cinematographer-turned-director Karm Chawla's debut film 'Ten'.
