Ananya Panday is one of the divas of the Hindi film industry, who even after going through a lot of trolling in the initial days of her career, made her name in the industry. It is to be noted that Ananya made her Bollywood debut during the same time when two other star kids Janhvi Kapoor (daughter of Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi) and Sara Ali Khan (daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh) made their debuts. The actress is mostly compared to them at times and now Pandey has spoken about it.

When we talk about female competition in the industry, we always think that they must be in some catfights or just look at each other as competition, however, in recent times, we have mostly seen women backing each other and speaking highly about the other actresses in the business. Similarly, when Ananya was asked about how women do not get along in the industry, the actress denied the statement and told News18 Showsha, "Women actors are pitted against each other and that’s something that people create more than actors themselves. The relationships shared between actors are hyped up. Most of my closest friends in the industry are women and I always find them very, very supportive."

Further speaking about how she is being compared to other actresses like Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan, the Student Of The Year 2 actress said that it never bothers her and added that she is very fond of them. She was quoted as saying, "Whenever I’ve a film, a song or a trailer coming out, Janhvi and Sara are always the first few people to message me or come for my screenings. I do the same for them. I always show up for them."

Well, Ananya Panday's answer is nothing but proof that Bollywood actresses are not just about catfights but a lot more than that. Women, today, in the industry support each other and stand by each other setting an example for their fans and followers.

Meanwhile, after delivering multiple projects, the actress was much appreciated for her performance in her latest release Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan. She was seen sharing the screen space with Sidharth Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav in the film, which was appreciated by the audience, as well as critics. The film, directed by Arjun Varain Singh, was released on Netflix on December 26, 2023.
