Bollywood actor Ananya Panday – who will soon make her OTT debut with the movie ‘Kho Haye Hum Kahan’, has grabbed headlines today and for the right reasons. Last evening, she graced the prestigious Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia wherein she made a fashion statement with her tightly fit red dress that was charming to the eyes. Not only this, but she also gave interviews at the event to various news portals like a pro despite being just 25 years old.

In an interview with Deadline last evening, Ananya Panday detailed why she decided to be an actor. She said, “Films namely Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham..., Kuch Kuch Hota Hai inspired me to be an actor. It was those big Bollywood films I recreated in my dreams during childhood. So yes, (filmmaker) Karan Johar inspired me to be an actor.”

For the unfamiliar, Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham... (2001) and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) were Karan Johar directorials.

Ananya also confessed to the news portal that besides Karan Johar, she also wishes to work with famous filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the Hindi cinema.

25-year-old young charming Bollywood actress, Ananya Panday, has been working professionally since she was 18. She made her debut as a lead actress in Karan Johar’s production ‘Student of The Year 2’ and since then there has been no turning back in her career. She continues to strive for excellence.

Kho Gaye Hum Kahan unfolds as an upcoming coming-of-age drama, marking the directorial debut of Arjun Varain Singh. The script, a collaborative effort by Singh, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti, is brought to life by producers Ritesh Sidhwani, Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Farhan Akhtar under the Excel Entertainment banner. The film features a talented ensemble cast, including Adarsh Gourav, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, and Rohan Gurbaxani in pivotal roles. Drawing inspiration from the titular song in "Baar Baar Dekho" (2016), the movie is set to premiere on Netflix on December 26, 2023.
