Ananya Panday on Dream Girl 2: I am laughing every moment on the set, tried hard not to

After her roles in the intense movies Gehraiyaan (2022) and Liger (2022), which were emotionally taxing, Ananya Panday needed a fun comedy. With Dream Girl 2, it appears that the performer has achieved her goal. She claims that she couldn't have wished for better co-actors than Ayushmann Khurrana, Paresh Rawal, and Seema Pahwa as she delves into her comedic side for the follow-up to the 2019 smash of the same name. Panday has learned a lot from watching how the more experienced actors add to their scenes on the spot.

She tells Mid Day that all of the ensemble cast members are funny, including Ayushmann, Paresh, Rajpal, and Seema. This is true even when they are improvising. Ananya is giggly during every scene on the shoot. Before her shoot starts, she has to work really hard not to giggle because they always think of the craziest shenanigans.

Earlier, when asked about casting Ayushmann and Ananya in Dream Girl 2, director Raaj Shandilya told Pinkvilla that their goal was to introduce a new couple to the screen. Even though Ayushmann has worked with other female actors before, this pairing has never been tried before. Also, this is a part that Ananya has never done before, and it appears to be brand new on the screen. The crew and he got along great while filming Dream Girl 2 in Mumbai and Agra.

Dream Girl 2 is set to hit the big screen on July 7, 2023.

Along with Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav, Ananya is also in Zoya Akhtar's Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. Raaj Shaandilyaa directed the movie. Ananya anticipates Arjun Varain Singh's upcoming film, which centres on young people's compulsion with social media.
