Ananya Panday is all set to show us just how versatile an actor she is. Lined up next for her is Amazon Prime Video’s Call Me Bae, which is directed by Collin D'Cunha and produced by Karan Johar under his Dharmatic Entertainment banner.  The latest from the comedy series that also stars Vir Das and Gurfateh Pirzada is that the makers have revealed Ananya's look from the series, and she will leave you stunned.

Call Me Bae: The story of an heiress who turned into a hustler

The makers of Call Me Bae shared a picture of Ananya in which she is dressed in a blush pink cutout dress, which she styled with chunky gold jewellery. She is a picture of grace and regality, as she is seen holding a glass of champagne. The caption reads, “Downsized from heiress to hustler, Bae discovers that her most valuable assets aren’t her diamonds, but her street smarts and style. Broke but refusing to be broken, she navigates the newsrooms of Mumbai, finding beaus, behens, and her better self.”

Call Me Bae is about an heiress who goes broke, only to find that her true assets are her "street smarts" and style. The series narrates the tale of the heiress, who navigates newfound talents and earns more human connections.

Ananya on her role in Call Me Bae

Speaking about her role in the series, Ananya told ETimes, “Usually, in the comedy films I've done, the comedy is always happening around me, and I'm only reacting to it. But in this, I'm kind of heading the comedy or doing most of the comedy. That's what I'm most excited about.”

Last year, after wrapping up the shoot of Call Me Bae, Ananya posted a picture of a cake from the shoot and wrote, "The most special ever," with red heart emojis. Earlier, the actress shared a picture from the last day of her shoot and wrote, “#CallMeBae, From day 05 to 55 all the feels for our last day tomorrow."
