Ananya Panday wishes to do a female-led film with Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor: All our energies are so different

Ananya Panday, a stunning young actress best known for her role in Vijay Deverakonda's Liger, has voiced her desire to collaborate alongside Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor on a female-led movie.

As times change, we increasingly see multi-starrers with female leads. Ananya and Deepika Padukone recently collaborated in the film Gehraiyaan, and their roles were substantial. For those who are unaware, Veere Di Wedding, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhasker, and Shikha Talsania, was a smash blockbuster in 2018. 

Intrestingly, for Jee Le Zara, a spin-off of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra, and Alia Bhatt will collaborate. There are still reports that Katrina and Deepika may appear together in one of the future YRF movies. The Crew, starring Kareena, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu, are two women-focused movies that are already in pre-production and production.

Ananya Panday was asked about who she’d like to team up with for a women-led film. The actress responded to Times of India, “I think it would be a lot of fun if they cast Sara (Ali Khan), Janhvi (Kapoor) and me in a film because all our energies are so different. I love them as performers and they are my friends as well. I am sure people would love to watch us together on the big screen.”

Ananya Panday has deftly dispelled any rumours of a professional rivalry between herself and Janhvi Kapoor or Sara Ali Khan. 

Ananya Panday will next be seen in the Ayushmann Khurrana-starring film Dream Girl 2, which also stars Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, Manjot Singh, and Seema Pahwa in key roles. The movie, which is being directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, will be released on July 7.
