The news of No Entry 2's new cast didn't sit well with Anil Kapoor. The actor was one of the three lead actors in Anees Bazmee's 2005 film No Entry. Boney Kapoor recently revealed that his brother, Anil, was angry when No Entry 2's new cast update was leaked. The producer said that Anil is still not talking to him properly because of this. Now, No Entry director Anees has shared his thoughts about Anil's rift with his brother with Boney.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Anees Bazmee said the update about Anil and Boney's rift over No Entry 2's new cast was news for him. He stated that No Entry, which was released in 2005, was an important film. The filmmaker added that if Anil isn't a part of the sequel, he would naturally feel hurt. However, he feels Boney must have had his reasons for casting new actors for the sequel.

"They are brothers... Tomorrow they will meet and hug each other. They both love each other," he told HT. For those who are unaware, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh have been roped in to play lead roles in No Entry's sequel.

Why did Boney Kapoor get a fresh cast for No Entry 2?

Meanwhile, Boney Kapoor has revealed the reason he chose Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh for Anees Bazmee's No Entry 2. The producer mentioned that Varun and Arjun are good friends and their off-screen bond would come out well in the movie. On the other hand, he wanted Diljit in No Entry's sequel because he enjoys a massive fan following.

Boney told News18 that he made this choice of actors keeping in mind that he wanted to keep the film relevant in today's time.

When will No Entry 2 be released?
