Amid such speculations, filmmaker Anees Bazmee has provided his insights on these reports.
Is Madhuri Dixit a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3?
When asked whether Madhuri is a part of the famous franchise, Anees told HT City, “[When we took on] Triptii and Vidya, it was announced; there are many more left (to be finalized). Some are being signed on; with others, we are still in talks. We will announce whatever happens soon.”
Triptii Dimri joins Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise
On February 21, Kartik Aaryan revealed on social media that actress Triptii Dimri has joined the cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Aaryan initially hinted at a mystery girl joining the team before confirming Dimri as his new co-star. The film also stars Vidya Balan.
Aaryan posted a mysterious photo on Instagram showing a puzzle piece with a woman's face surrounded by candles, a lantern, a lock, and a key. The cropped photo only partially showed the girl's face, while a nearby card displayed the movie's title, indicating Dimri's role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Finally, he revealed that it was Triptii Dimri with a message that read, "Welcome to the World of Bhool Bhulaiyaa @tripti_dimri."
Anees Bazmee not well?
According to Pinkvilla, director Anees Bazmee injured his leg during the final day of recce for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. He was hospitalized and offered two choices: surgery that would require three months of rest or a steel plate insertion. Bazmee chose surgery in order to fulfill his commitment to direct the film on March 9, 2024. Staying true to his commitment despite the injury, Bazmee arrived on set using a wheelchair to show his dedication to the project.
