Among the many actors making their exit from projects, it was announced that Diljit Dosanjh, who was going to make his entry into the world of No Entry 2, had to head for the sudden exit. While there were many speculations, producer Boney Kapoor tried to put them to rest. Now, Anees Bazmee has also spoken up on the same. Here's what he said...

Boney Kapoor had aggressively clarified that there were no creative differences with Diljit Dosanjh but that the dates were clashing, which caused issues. He also assured that the makers and the actor were trying to work things out.
Anees Bazmee, on the other hand, kept an unbothered attitude as he told News18 that things were unfolding as they were destined to. "It’s not like the films that I’ve only worked with actors who’ve been my first choices on the films I’ve done so far," he added, recalling how the audiences have often thought that the character fits the bill after the movie releases (biggest example being Kartik Aaryan replacing Akshay Kumar in Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise).

"Our last meeting, which was the second time that we met, lasted for 10 minutes. We were discussing his dates because there was a bit of back and forth. He told me that he’s trying to work out his dates," the director recalled, adding how producer Boney Kapoor was also a part of the meeting. The director further said that he's not one to give clarification since whatever is destined will happen, and it would be for the better.

Recalling the time when Diljit came on-board, Anees shared that the singer from Punjab who aims at becoming a global actor, met the director for 20 minutes and did not even hear the full script before saying yes. Bazmee remembered how Diljit simply understood the film's context, joined the dots given No Entry's history, and agreed to work on the movie instantly.
