Aneet Padda has been locked as the new lady of Maddock’s Horror Comedy Universe. The young actress was introduced to headline Shakti Shalini in Thamma’s end credits. The announcement teaser surprised fans to see Aneet in another big-budget film and promising venture. The upcoming horror comedy film is expected to drop in December 2026. However, before kickstarting the shoot schedule, Aneet will head back to college for her final exams. For the unversed, Aneet Padda is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in political science. The 23-year-old Saiyaara star will first complete her studies and give the exams before officially commencing the shoot in December or January.

According to India Today, a source shared details about the same and said, “It is incredible that Aneet Padda is so young and she has become such a massive success story in our country. The Gen Z face of India is set to give her college final year exams in December and January before she starts shooting for her next, Dinesh Vijan's Shakti Shalini, a film that she is headlining.”

The source also added that Aneet’s schedule is designed in a way that she can balance both her work and studies.
