Ayushmann Khurrana received immense praise for his stint in his latest venture Anek. The handsome hunk began his career in Bollywood with the hit film Vicky Donor opposite Yami Gautam. Before foraying into Bollywood, the actor has been a radio jockey as well as VJ on famous TV channels. Meanwhile, the actor has also tried his hands in Indian daily soaps. He has recently revealed that he auditioned for a famous role in a famous tv series back before gathering immense fame.

In a recent interview with Dainik Bhaskar, the actor revealed that he auditioned for one of Ekta Kapoor's shows. He further tried to recall in faded memory and mentioned that the show was either 'Kasauti Zindagii Kayy' or 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' and the role was bagged by Pulkit Samrat

Through his latest venture was seen promoting peace within the country as well as educating people about the ongoing rift inside the nation.

Anek follows the story of an undercover officer Aman is trying to expose Johnson, who is tagged as a dangerous terrorist in the area but what even Aman comes to know is more shocking than one would expect. He comes across Aida (Andrea Kevichusa) while on his mission, who plays an important role in him getting closer to his motive.

After theatres, the political drama movie, which also has Kumud Mishra, Manoj Pahwa and J. D. Chakravarthy, is all set to arrive on Netflix soon. 

The action-thriller film marks the second collaboration of Ayushmann and Anubhav Sinha after the 2019 film Article 15 which also has Sayani Gupta, Isha Talwar and Sumbul Touqeer in key roles.

Meanwhile, after Anek, Ayushmann is now gearing up for Doctor G opposite Rakul Preet Singh and An Action Hero alongside Jaideep Ahlawat.
