The Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Anek is all set to hit the theatres at the end of May 2022. The makers have released a conceptual video that breaks down the actor's undercover cop character in the Anubhav Sinha directorial.

The latest video titled Undercover Cop Vs Lie Detector features Ayushmann as an innocent man trapped among the Naxalites. A man from North-East India can be seen harshly asking the actor to tell him the reality about him. "For four hours, you've been asking the same question to me. Please try to believe me, I'm not the person you think I am," the protagonist says and tries to convince the Naxalite.

The antagonist doesn't believe him and tells him to speak his real name. The montage suddenly shifts to another zone, where Ayushmann addresses the audience and says that his name is Aman, however, the video shifts to his present situation again and he tells the Naxalite that his name is Joshua.

When he is asked what is he doing in the North-East, he turns to another camera and again informs the viewers that he is an undercover officer, while the video cuts back to the present and he informs his captivator that he has come looking for a cafe and he was spotted nearby their area because he had to buy some stuff.

Finally, the Naxalite believes him and tells him not to be found anywhere near their place again. As he gets up he intentionally injures his right hand and takes out a small tracker from inside his palm and sneakily puts it inside the pocket of one of the Naxalites who escorts him outside.

In the end, after getting untangled from their nab, he calls his senior and tells him that the job has been done.
