Aneri Vajani on Khatron Ke Khiladi 12: People who thought I’d fail will apologise after watching Rohit Shetty’s show

Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 has finally come back for another adrenaline pumping new season with a whole new set of contestants out to prove their might. One among them is Aneri Vajani. The actress recently opened up about her experience of working on the Rohit Shetty hosted show.

In conversation with The Indian Express, Aneri spoke of how a lot of people did not have faith in her. But she assures that such people will be ‘shocked’ when they see her perform on the show. Winning and losing aside, the actress said that she had done all the tasks she had been given as well as possible. She said that she wasn't like a ‘flower’, but more like ‘fire’. “I am proud of what I did, and people who thought I would fail, will message and apologise to me,” she said. 

She revealed how she was motivated to give it her all when she got to the show’s sets. She was inspired after seeing her co-contestants give it their all, as well as host Rohit’s motivation. She added that she was ‘amazed’ at herself for doing so. The reality show marked the actress first non-fiction project. 

The actress had recently made an appearance on Rupali Ganguly’s show Anupamaa. Opening up on her role, Aneri said that her character was supposed to be on the show for about two months, but the makers had extended it after the love she got from fans. She spoke of the impact her character had, addressing a topic that was still taboo in Indian society. 

In addition to Aneri, the other contestants on the reality show are Rubina Dilaik, Pratik Sehajpal, Tushar Kalia, Chetna Pande, Sriti Jha, Mohit Malik, Nishant Bhat and Rajiv Adatia, Shivangi Joshi, Jannat Zubair,Faizal Shaikh and Kanika Mann. The first episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 can be watched on Colors TV and Voot.
