Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia to play an on-screen couple for the first time? Here’s what we know

Even though their presence as a real-life couple on social media won many hearts, it is interesting how actor Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia never worked together as an on-screen couple for any film or series in the past.

However, this pattern will be broken as the couple are working together in an upcoming comedy-drama. The story is written by the celebrated author Cheran Bhagat.

The film has already gone on floors and was shot in Mumbai.

The story of the film revolves around a couple and how they are living their lives during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Angad will be playing the character of Raghavan Rao and Neha plays the role of his wife, Savi.

A source close to the development said, "It’s an exciting proposition as the duo are social media goals when it comes to being the adorable couple they’re and the casting was done keeping their natural chemistry in mind." Earlier they have appeared in many social media videos and Neha had a wonderful conversation with Angad in her podcast. Every time they worked together for any campaign or non-fiction project, or photo shoot, the netizens always appreciated their on-screen chemistry.

Neha, who is a former Femina Miss India, is married to Angad since 2018 and they have two children, a daughter and a son.

Angad is known for delivering some of the fine performances in F.A.L.T.U, Rangeelay, Pink, Tiger Zinda Hai, Soorma, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl among others. He also appeared in the web series Inside Edge, The Verdict - State vs. Nanavati.

Neha, on the other hand, has appeared in Hindi Medium, Tumhari Sulu, Qarib Qarib Singlle, Lust Stories, Helicopter Eela, Sanak and A Thursday among others in recent times.

The shooting of the upcoming film has been completed. Angad has also finished shooting for the upcoming Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
