It can be a case study for the trade experts in the coming month to gauge the nature of Animal at the box office. Even amid a pool of strong criticisms and debates, the movie has not moved even an inch backward from its journey to some insane Box Office numbers. While it has already surpassed the Rs 600 crore milestone at the global box office , the movie is spreading like wildfire even in the Indian circuit. As per the latest numbers coming in, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer has managed to beat Aamir Khan’s Dangal at the India Box Office.

Animal starring Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is busy creating history as we speak. The movie that is estimated to go much over the Rs 400 mark giving competition to Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Yash KGF: Chapter 2 (Hindi)has now reached next to 400 Crore with its collection on Day 9. As per Indian Express, the movie has added another 37 crore in its kitty on the second Saturday which is the ninth day.

This means the total domestic collection of Animal now stands at a staggering 398.53 crore. While this number is extremely close to the 400 crore milestone and nothing seems impossible now, the movie has managed to break yet another record. It has now surpassed Aamir Khan’s Dangal’s lifetime collection in just nine days. The Aamir starrer had earned 387.38 crore at the Indian Box Office during its theatrical run in the domestic market.

Apart from leaving behind Dangal, the movie has also surpassed Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai to secure a spot in the list of top 10 all-time highest-grossing Bollywood movies worldwide. Today is day 10, and the fact that it is a Sunday, the numbers today will be higher than those on Saturday. The movie has already scored the biggest second Friday ever in the history of Hindi cinema.
