A grand pre-release event of Animal was recently held in Hyderabad. Sandeep Reddy Vanga and the star cast of Animal attended the grand event. SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu, too, marked their presence and made it a star-studded affair. After the event ended, Animal actor Anil Kapoor shared a heartfelt note on X. He expressed gratitude to Mahesh Babu for gracing his film's pre-release event.

Anil Kapoor took to his official X account and wrote, "I'm still buzzing from the energy of this phenomenal event! I could not have imagined a better blessing for our film than the love, warmth and generosity showered on us by people of Hyderabad...A special note of thanks to urstrulyMahesh for gracing this event. His star burns so bright, it lit up the entire arena! Sending a prayer of thanks to the late Bapu saab for introducing me to the incredible world of Tollywood and directing me in my first ever Telugu film (sic)."

The actor further hoped his bond with Hyderabad grows deeper with Animal's release. He plays the role of Balbir Singh, Ranbir Kapoor's father in Vanga's movie.

More about Animal

Animal is Anil and Ranbir's first project with Sandeep. In fact, this project marks Vanga's second film in Bollywood after the blockbuster success of Kabir Singh. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen playing the role of RK's love interest in the movie. As for Ranbir, he plays the lead role whereas Bobby Deol is the antagonist of the movie. 

Animal's box office clash

Animal will lock horns with Sam Bahadur at the box office. Both movies are scheduled for a theatrical release on December 1, 2023. Talking about Sam Bahadur, it is directed by Meghna Gulzar and stars Vicky Kaushal as Sam Manekshaw.
