Animal, starring Rashmika Mandanna and Ranbir Kapoor, was released today (December 1). This is Ranbir's first project with renowned Kabir Singh director Sandeep Vanga Reddy. It was earlier reported that the OTT version of the film is expected to be 30 minutes longer than the original runtime, i.e., 3 hours and 21 minutes.
It was also reported that the producers intended to screen the extended version in theatres at two different times. To be cautious, the distributors also trimmed a few sequences, bringing the theatrical version's final runtime down to 3 hours and 21 minutes.
Animal OTT release date
After having a successful run in theatres, Animal will be released on Netflix. Now, according to the buzz, the film is all set to release on January 26, 2024, to coincide with Republic Day.

In the action-thriller film Animal, a man (Ranbir) who has an unwavering love for his father (Anil) is shown as being furious and in a rage to kill every person who hurts him or his family. The fervour among the audience for this film is evident, and their expectations had increased even further with the release of the trailer.

Today, on December 1, the movie was released in theatres. It clashed at the box office with Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sanya Malhotra's Sam Bahadur.
