Even though it was controversial, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Animal was able to draw crowds to the theaters. It became the highest-grossing A-rated film and the ninth-highest-grossing Hindi film. The film boasts an ensemble star cast consisting of Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, along with Triptii Dimri, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Shakti Kapoor, among others.

The film received mixed reviews from the critics as well as the audience. According to a recent report, the movie will be available on Netflix on Republic Day, 2024. Yes! Meanwhile, in an earlier interview with Komal Nahta, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of Animal claimed to be picky about everything. Vanga went on to say that he got angry when he discovered some sound problems just one day before the release and that Ranbir had to pacify him later.

He also revealed that he should have kept the three-hour, thirty-minute version, but he had to cut out eight or nine minutes because of pressure. He is currently editing the Netflix version, which will include a few more shots, he revealed. "I’m using that footage for the Netflix version of Animal", Sandeep said. Nevertheless, the movie will be available on Netflix with all of its uncensored parts included, according to a recent media source.

Animal Box Office Update

On its first day of release on December 1, the movie Animal brought in ₹63.8 crore. First-week earnings for the movie were ₹337.58 crore, followed by ₹54.45 crore in the second week, ₹9.57 crore in the third week, and ₹7.18 crore in the fourth. According to the latest, the action movie has made more than ₹900 crore worldwide. The film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga earned ₹550.85 crore in the domestic market.
