Animal has become the hottest topic of discussion in any room we enter and the impact the movie has had is very big (good or bad is subjective). While a lot of things about the movie are being discussed, one scene that has left the internet divided is Ranbir Kapoor’e Vijay telling Tripti Dimri’s Zoya to lick his shoes after a sequence that reveals Zoya’s true intentions. Now cast member Siddhant Karnick has decided to react to the scene and has a very interesting take on the same.

Siddhant Karnick plays Varun Pratap Malhotra, Vijay’s brother-in-law in Animal. The actor has a pivotal part to play in the film and has now spoken about his experience working in the movie. In the latest chat, he opened up about one scene that was unsettling for him. He spoke about the aforementioned scene involving Tripti Dimri and Ranbir Kapoor. While the actor defined it as unsettling, he also hailed Sandeep Reddy Vanga for creating it.

As per the Bollywood Hungama interview, Siddhant Karnick said, “I will be honest with you and I am still processing. That scene with Tripti Dimri and Ranbir Kapoor. That was like wow. You know, it was unsettling but then I also felt like what a choice. It is an interesting choice to make for a character. It’s a very courageous choice to make as a director. Because at the end of the day, it is Sandeep sir who is receiving the flak.”

“That’s where he turned from a hero to an anti-hero for me. And that portrayed this man’s psychoness, that he is good too but there are also deep dark traits for him. There is a very fine line for Vijay to turn villain and it’s not easy to tread on that. That scene makes me react,” he added.

Meanwhile, Animal is achieving a massive fest at Box Office not just domestically but even in the global market. The last numbers for the domestic collection stood at Rs 284.05 crore. Directed by Vanga, Animal stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Shakti Kapoor, and an ensemble. Stay tuned to OTTplay for more on the same and everything else from the world of streaming and films.
