Anirban Bhattacharya's character poster from Rekka unveiled

The character poster of Bengali actor Anirban Bhattacharya from his upcoming web series Rekka was unveiled recently. Hoichoi revealed the poster on their social media handles.

Anirban sits on a road, in front of a house, in the character poster. Cars, autos and trucks surround him as he sits carefree on the road without any slippers.

Wearing a white kurta pyjama with a jacket, Anirban looks straight into the camera. A few other people can be seen in the background but the focus is solely on Anirban.

Anirban plays the role of Ator Ali in Rekka. The series has been kept a mystery and till date, Hoichoi has only hinted that it has something to do with a restaurant.

Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Khete Aashenni, also known as Rekka, is helmed by Srijit Mukherji. It is inspired from a novel penned by Mohammad Nazim Uddin.

Rekka, which is expected to be a murder mystery, will release on Hoichoi directly. The web series will start streaming from August 13.

Srijit recently made headlines for helming a segment in Ray. The filmmaker worked with Ali Fazal and Shweta Basu Prasad in the segment called Forget Me Not. The segment was the first in Ray, a Netflix anthology inspired from iconic filmmaker Satyajit Ray's stories.

Meanwhile, Anirban has Mukhosh, Golondaaj, Birpurush and Baligarh on the movie front. None of the movies have been released so far in 2021 but might actually hit theatres if there is no second wave of COVID-19.
