Anjali Arora finally files defamation case over morphed MMS video, under investigation

Anjali Arora has filed a defamation case over the morphed MMS video which came out during her stint on Lock Upp. She confirmed the same but did not reveal details of the case. The said MMS was an adult video where Anjali’s face was morphed to an adult star’s.

Anjali files a defamation case

Anjali filed a defamation case against media portals and social media influencers who covered the MMS video. They assumed it was Anjali in the video, which tarnished her image. Thus, she has taken action against them.

Confirms the same

Anjali confirmed the news to Times Now. Her PR team further added that Anjali has already filed the FIR and the police investigation has commenced on the matter.

The leaked video

Anjali’s face was morphed in the leaked MMS. A family member noticed the video and circulated it in family groups to get clarity on the same. The FIR mentioned that family members, friends as well as relatives sent the MMS to the complainant to ask her questions on the same. Anjali was a part of the reality show Lock Upp when the video was circulated because of which she couldn’t either respond to the same or file an FIR back then. It is to be noted that the show ended nearly two years back. The police investigation on the morphed video is currently in progress.

Another viral morphed video in recent time

Recently, a video was morphed with Rashmika Mandanna’s face. In the video, the lady was seen coming out of a lift and posing. The clip was taken as seductive and it was later revealed that Rashmika’s face was morphed. Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika had openly called out the video and how AI has become so scary that it can morph an image on anybody’s body.
