Flat Theke Paliye starring Ankita Chakroborty and Jeetu Kamal revolves around a nuclear family and the suffering of a young boy named Dylan amidst the lockdown caused by the pandemic. The child artists Srijato Banerjee and Arjya Mullick play pivotal roles in the film directed by Aranyak Chatterjee.
Chakraborty and Kamal play a couple who has a young son named Dylan and whose parents are at loggerheads about trivial matters. Dylan is not allowed to step outside due to the pandemic and starts feeling lonely. He strikes up an unusual bond with the son of the security guard who works at their residential apartment.
The kids, who hail from two different socio-economic strata, make a pact and decide to run away from their home; a journey that takes them along an unknown path.
The makers recently released a teaser for Flat Theke Paliye, which immediately brings back the nightmares of the lockdown when the entire world was locked inside their homes.

“Playing a mother was quite a fun experience because both Srijato and Arjya are adorable and sweet. I had a great time. Being Debi opposite Jeetu was also quite an experience; he was very comfortable to work with. Even though this is my first collaboration with Jeetu, we used to have long chat sessions between the shots. Aranyak was very sorted with his script and story and the entire crew was really energetic and cooperative to work with,(sic)” Ankita said about her role in a statement shared by the makers.
Meanwhile, actor Kamal’s career seems to be going through a golden phase. He is currently earning huge praises for portraying Satyajit Ray’s avatar as Aparajito Ray in Anik Dutta’s upcoming film Aparajito. The movie caught the attention of everyone with its very first glimpse. And Ankita Chakraborty is busy with OTT projects and films these days.
Flat Theke Paliye is premiering on April 24 on Zee Bangla Cinema.
