Ankita Lokhande inconsolable after seeing tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput on DID Super Moms: Jahan bhi hai, khush rahe

Ankita Lokhande was inconsolable after she saw a contestant on DID Super Moms pay tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput. Ankita was extremely close to Sushant at one point of time and upon seeing the tribute, she could not stop crying. In fact, she wished for his happiness.

“Woh Jahan bhi hai, khush rahe,” Ankita was heard saying in a promo of the show. The actress tried hard to fight back her tears even as she said, “God bless him.”

Sadhana Mishra, a contestant on DID Super Moms, paid a tribute to Sushant through her performance. She recalled his stint on MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and the actor as a whole.

The camera then panned to Ankita, who fondly remembered the late actor. She found a friend and much more in Sushant, at least at one given point of time.

Ankita was even seen silently saying ‘oh f**k’ as she was surprised to see Sadhana pay tribute to Sushant. Thereafter, the actress could barely control her tears.

Co-incidentally, Usha Nadkarni, who played the role of Ankita’s mother-in-law in Pavitra Rishta, was also a part of the show. She, too, broke down upon seeing the tribute for Sushant.

Ankita and Sushant had fallen in love on the sets of Pavitra Rishta. After years of dating, however, they parted ways. Now, Ankita is married to Vicky Jain.

She and Usha took Pavitra Rishta ahead with Ekta Kapoor. Shaheer Sheikh stepped in to play the role of Manav – a character that Sushant had immortalized.
