Ankita Lokhande became a household name with her debut in ZEE TV soap opera Pa vitra Rishta. When asked how she felt about her big screen pairing with her Veer Savarkar lead actor, Ankita said, "I am really excited to see myself with Randeep”. Ankita also shared that she can’t wait to be on the big screen again and that she hopes that the audience will love watching the film. Earlier, Ankita was seen in the Kangana Ranaut-starrer Manikarnika (2019).
Naturally, the question arises if she’s keen to be a part of historical dramas per se? Ankita responded, “I know it has happened and I am happy. These are quite strong parts, and I got the chance to showcase my skills as an actor.” She also thanked all her filmmakers for trusting her enough to play such pivotal roles on celluloid. However, change is the only constant in life, right? Thus, now that Ankita is free from participating in Big Boss 17, she wants to focus more time and energy on doing “something commercial soon”. Ankita added that she has been discussing a lot of varied roles and doing different kinds of things on the screen.
Professional milestones apart, when will Ankita embrace motherhood seems to be a topic of discussion among many. To this, the Pavitra Rishta actor quipped, “Honestly, there will be a day when I will conceive. A day when I will have my babies. Wait for it na,”
On an aside, Ankita didn’t hesitate to point out that she finds this incessant questioning about becoming a mother “funny” than “irritating”. Ankita said that she feels people are a bit confused themselves as on one hand they ask her about her new work projects, while on the other, they also want her to become a mother right away. But she’s okay with answering this same question again and again as she knows how to reply. Ankita Lokhande recently competed in Bigg Boss 17 alongside her husband, businessman Vicky Jain.
