It had nine episodes where Ankush played a local detective in the small town of Shikarpur, North Bengal. His performance, as well as the entire series, stunned the audience and the show became very popular. Now the series will be released as a film on the big screen. Shikarpur is a small locality in North Bengal. Suddenly, fear of a ghost looms large in the locality. One after another person gets killed. Each bears the surname Ghosh. The local people believe that these are done by the Pichla bhut – the ghost. This has supposedly a connection with Debi Choudhurani's myth. Young detective Keshto, played by Ankush Hazra, starts investigating the case.
Koushik Ganguly, named Dindayal Biswas in Shikarpur, is Kesthto’s mentor. Then a cat-and-mouse game starts. Keshto rents a room at Dindayal’s place and falls in love with his daughter Chumki, played by Sandipta Sen.
People loved Ankush in sling bags, check shirts, and black sunglasses. He used to roam around on a cycle. Debasish Mondal played another important role who played Biman, a police officer. Sayan Ghosh also looked perfect as a magician.
Now, it remains to see how much people will love the characters on screen. Ankush previously hinted on his Facebook profile that a new thrill would come on October 14 at 5 PM.
