Makers of the Rajinikanth entertainer Annaatthe released their fourth single after Annaatthe Annaatthe, Saara Kaattrae and Marudhaani. Titled Vaa Saamy, it features the superstar in his own element of action and heroism.
With the vocals sung by Mukesh, Nochipatti Thirumoorthi and debutant singer Keezhakarai Samsutheen, Vaa Saamy is bound to give you goosebumps. Rajinikanth fans can especially expect him to eliminate all the bad guys and remain unharmed, in style. Lyrics of the fourth single are penned by Arun Bharathi. They talk about ‘fire like’ eyes of the star who is on a prowl for hunting down the bad guys like a ‘sara vedi’ or a ‘bomb cracker.’ Overall, it sounds like the perfect tune for when he gets into fight mode.
All the songs of Annaatthe are of contrasting characters, which clearly describe the different stages of life the storyline goes through. From the smashing introduction of Rajinikanth in the movie to his romance with the lady superstar Nayanthara, to a celebratory song of a wedding and to war cry anthem, Imman has given it all for the upcoming Diwali entertainer.
Annaatthe is backed by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures and also stars Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Soori and Abimanyu Singh among others in pivotal roles.
The film was recently cleared by the CBFC Board with a U/A certificate. It is slated to release on the big screens on the occasion of Diwali i.e. on November 4.
There are no details on the OTT release of Annatthe so far. However, the makers are expected to make an announcement anytime soon.
