The new music video of the upcoming horror-comedy flick sees the actor gearing up to act like a ghost whilst partying with the dead in the palace.
With Ghost Party, the new music video from Annabelle Sethupathi, breaking the internet, partying seems to have taken to a new meaning altogether. It is not just restricted to grooving to the music and drinking with fellow humans but also ghosts.
The main lead of the upcoming horror-comedy flick, Vijay Sethupathi put up the story of the foot-tapping rhythm on his social media, announcing its release.
The music video Ghost Party features Taapsee Pannu gearing herself up to act like a ghost, which seems to be a comical process. The ghosts of the horror-comedy flick, portrayed by Yogi Babu, Devadharshini and Chetan, among others seem to enjoy the antics of the female lead along with her family, who tries to make her seem like a convincing ghost. Meanwhile, they also seem to unwittingly spook the live members in the palace. Composed by Krishna Kishor and the lyrics of Ku Karthik, the vocals of Ghost Party were sung by Jonita Gandhi and Yashita Sharma.
Talking about the upcoming Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu starrer, Annabelle Sethupathi is touted to be a horror-comedy movie that talks about a burglar (played by Taapsee) who decides to loot an age-old palace along with her family and gets embroiled in a series of messy affairs. The movie features Radikaa Sarathkumar, Jagapathi Babu and Rajendra Prasad in important roles.
Directed by Deepak Sundarrajan, the movie is bankrolled by Sudhan Sundaram and G Jayaram under the banner of Passion Studios.
Annabelle Sethupathi is scheduled to come out on Disney+Hotstar on September 17.
