Chaitanya Rao, who shot to fame with the web show 30 Weds 21, has been gradually cementing his position as a bankable performer in the industry. While he was seen in films like Mukhachitram, A Journey to Kashi, Jagamemaya recently, his next release is Annapurna Photo Studio, a rustic entertainer directed by O Pitta Katha-fame filmmaker Chendu Muddu.

The first poster offers a glimpse of the film’s small-town backdrop with plenty of green cover, while Chaitanya Rao, riding a Bajaj Chetak, is trying woo the leading lady Lavanya, who’s using a cycle. There’s a police van behind the lead pair as well. The film’s quirky caption ‘Ichata Photolu Andanga Teeyabadunu’ warrants your attention as well.

The concept poster of the film was launched by director Harish Shankar recently. The director Chendu Muddu called it a pure rural love story set in the 1980s and will have several twists and turns with a dose of nostalgia too. Thanking the producer for offering complete freedom with the execution, he added that all characters in the film will have their own identity.

The lead actor Chaitanya Rao thanked the director and producer for trusting him with the film and expressed confidence that it will transport the audience to to a bygone era. The cinematography and the music of the film are its lifelines, he added. Pankaj cranked the camera for the film which has music by Prince Henry. The first copy of Annapurna Photo Studio is ready and the release date will be announced shortly.
