Anni Manchi Sakunamule box office: Day one collection of the Santosh Soban, Malavika Nair starrer is here

Anni Manchi Sakunamule is a film that was promoted quite aggressively in the last few days by the makers, Swapna Cinema. The family drama has been directed by Nandini Reddy and stars Santosh Soban and Malavika Nair in lead roles. It was released on the 18th of this month.

The film started on a very slow note and as per the news, it made only 2 crores gross on day one worldwide. The occupancy was very dull in the morning shows but things picked up from the night shows in areas like Nizam and Krishna on day one.

As it is a key Friday, the occupancy is not that great. As the summer season is in full throttle, the evening and night shows are seeing some occupancy at the box office and the same is the case with this film as well.

Swampna Cinema produced this film and they sold the theatrical rights for six crores. All the film had to do was to get good reviews but that did not happen. The old-school narration of the film has caused slight damage to the response from the audience.

The weekend will be the key to the film as once the weekdays start, things will change big time. Already, other releases like Bichagadu 2 have opened to a decent talk today in Telugu states. So, some post-release promotions need to attract the film in a big way. We need to see how the film will fare in the days to come.
