Director Nandini Reddy’s back with another theatrical release after her blockbuster Oh Baby. Her next is Anni Manchi Sakunamule, a family entertainer starring Santosh Soban, Malvika Nair in the lead, produced by Priyanka Dutt under Swapna Cinema in association with Mitravinda Movies. The title track of the film, which is gearing up for a release on May 18, was launched on Tuesday.

Mickey J Meyer scores the music for the feel-good entertainer. Singer Karthik, who has teamed up with the composer for several hits from Happy Days, Kotha Bangaru Lokam, has crooned for the title track of Anni Manchi Sakunamule, lyricised by Rahman. The song is a plea to lead, celebrate your life with optimism, not let its slippery slopes affect you.

With ‘Nijamedhi..Rujuvedhi..Vidhi Aate.. Gelichedi…Manakedhi…Manadedhi…Telchedevaroo’ the song takes off on a philosophical note. The leisurely paced melody offers an intimate glimpse of the film’s world and its characters with a few montages set amidst eye-catchy backdrops. Wash away your blues with a hint of hope and belief in destiny, the track emphasises.

The lines ‘Kalavadamu Sahajam..Vidavadamu Sahajam..Nadumuna Natakame Jaruguta Tadhyam..’ capture the soul of the song and perhaps the film itself. After all, the story is about families, conflicts, togetherness. Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Naresh, Gauthami, Sowcar Janaki, Vasuki, Vennela Kishore, Ramya Subramanian, Anju Alva Naik, Ashwin Kumar also essay important roles.

This is just the start the team needed to kickstart the promotions on a memorable note. Sunny Kurapati and Richard Prasad are the cinematographers for the film whose screenplay is written by Dawood. Lakshmi Bhupala pens the dialogues and Junaid is the editor. Shivam Rao and Mohana Desiraju are the production designer and the costume designer respectively.
