Ante Sundaraniki: Renowned carnatic vocalist Aruna Sairam makes her Telugu debut with the first single 'The Panchakattu song'

After consecutive heavy, serious dramas like V, Tuck Jagadish and Shyam Singha Roy, actor Nani is back in his home base, comedy, with his next release, Ante Sundariniki. The film, written and directed by Vivek Athreya, marks the Telugu debut of Malayalam actress Nazriya Fahadh, cast as Leela Thomas. Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Y are bankrolling the film under the leading banner Mythri Movie Makers. The film, which has already wrapped its shoot, is gearing up to hit theatres on June 10.

Kickstarting the promotional campaign ahead of the release, the team is launching the first single from the film, The Panchakattu song, tomorrow at 6.03 pm. The promo of the number was unveiled by the team today. And it certainly brought a smile to our faces! Why? Leading carnatic vocalist Aruna Sairam will be making her singing debut in Telugu cinema with the same. The Panchakattu song appears to be a catchy, peppy song taking viewers through the travails of Sundaram in the US.

In the promo, Aruna Sairam is having a blast singing the number and the entire team of Ante Sundariniki, including composer Vivek Sagar, director Vivek Athreya and actor Nani are in a cheery mood. Given that Nani plays a traditional youngster from a Brahmin family who's in the US for a reason, the choice to bring someone like Aruna Sairam on board is quite apt. Nani, in the song, is seen in his dhoti in the streets of a busy city in the US.

Niketh Bommi handles the cinematography of Ante Sundaraniki while Raviteja Girijala is the editor. Latha Naidu is the production desinger. Nadhiya, Harshavardhan, Rahul Ramakrishna, Suhas too play important roles in the song.
