Anthony Mackie features as Captain America in new The Falcon and the Winter Soldier poster

Disney and MCU just can’t stop giving fans something to live for! This time, it’s the new poster of Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie, as Captain America for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series.

This is the second individual poster for Sam from the Captain America spin-off series. The first featured him in his traditional Falcon garb, but he switched to his former friend Steve Roger’s (Chris Evans) Captain America suit, albeit with some enhancements, in episode 6.

Sam looks incredible in his new Captain America poster, donned in his white suit with new high-tech wings built by the Wakandans. If fans are able to look past the famous Captain America shield, the one which Sam gave away in the first episode, they will find that the new blue-and-white suit includes several stars. The shield is a staple Captain America weapon and Sam is seen proudly displaying it in episode 6.

The poster reveal complements the news of a Captain America 4 in the MCU. The movie is rumoured to have Mackie at the forefront and will be the first Captain America film to not feature Chris Evans. Evans, however, is believed to return as Captain America for another MCU project.

Directed by Kari Skogland, the six episodes of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier star Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Erin Kellyman, Adepero Oduye, Amy Aquino, and Danny Ramirez. The series is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
