Bollywood’s Bhaijaan Salman Khan has convincingly portrayed various characters on screen over his career of 33 years in the Hindi film industry. In that list of characters, there were many roles of cops which left a deep impact on the audience-- may it be Chulbul Pandey of Dabangg series, Radhe of Wanted or an undercover police officer in his last release Radhe. Well, once again Salman is all set to blow his fans away as an on-screen cop in Mahesh Manjrekar’s upcoming action thriller, Antim: The Final Truth.

In a recent chat with Mid Day, the director revealed how he and Salman had a talk to make the cop character look different. Manjrekar revealed. “He has played a cop in so many films — the Dabangg series, Wanted [2009], Garv [2004] and Radhe. So, Salman and I sat down to discuss how to make this character different. It was his idea to give the character a turban. Salman decided to grow his beard; he was [against the idea of] wearing a fake beard because it restricts one’s facial movements and affects the performance. He took a lot of trouble to do justice to the role.”

Starring Aayush Sharma as gangster Rahulia and Salman as an ‘honest inspector’, Antim: The Final Truth is based on the 2018 Marathi film Mulshi Pattern. The film is all set to hit the big screen on 26th November, which is the last Friday of this month. Are you excited to enjoy the theatre experience once again?
