Antony Varghese-starrer Ajagajantharam's latest poster promises a majestic festive treat

Brace yourself for a festive treat! While the makes of Ajagajantharam are yet to officially announce its theatrical release date, they did release the poster of the upcoming action-thriller starring Antony Varghese aka Pepe on his birthday today. 

The poster once again highlights the actor’s character along with an elephant and has a temple festival as its backdrop. The movie, which is directed by Tinu Pappachan who had earlier teamed up with Antony in Swathandhriyam Ardharathriyil, is scripted by Angamaly Diaries’ actors Kichu Tellus and Vineeth Vishwam. 

The story of the movie spans a day and evolves mostly in the backdrop of a temple festival. Packed with action and thrilling elements, the movie also has Arjun Ashokan in a never-before-seen role as its antagonist. Chemban Vinod Jose and Sabumon Abdusamad are the other actors starring in the film, which is currently expected to release on October 29 in theatres in Kerala. 

Earlier this month, the makers had hinted that the movie will release in 300 theatres across Kerala. But the government only allowing 50% capacity in theatres, the producers might wait for a few more weeks. As of now, only Joju George and Sheelu Abraham’s Star, which also has Prithviraj Sukumaran in a cameo, is officially announced an October release date. 

Antony, meanwhile, is also part of Aanaparambile World Cup. The actor plays the role of a Sevenes football player who mentors a team of U-12 players and leads them to a tournament in the children’s fantasy sports film, which is directed by Nikhil Premraj. The movie is expected to hit theatres in December. The actor is also part of Jis Joy’s movie with Asif Ali, Nimisha Sajayan and Reba Monica John that wrapped up production last month.
