Minnal Murali and Bangalore Days producer Sophia Paul of Weekend Blockbusters took to her social networking page to announce that they will be teaming up with KGF and Vikram stunt directors Anbariv for their upcoming film.

According to reports, the upcoming action thriller will have three heroes with Antony Varghese and Shane Nigam being confirmed for two parts. The team are currently on the lookout for the third lead actor, and Srinath Bhasi and Neeraj Madhav are the two artistes who have been considered for the role in the film, which is helmed by debutant Nahas Hidayath.

Weekend Blockbusters’ previous release Minnal Murali had Hollywood stunt director Vlad Rimburg, who was part of the series such as Lucifer and Altered Carbon, choreographing the action scenes. The Anbariv duo, who had made their debut with Amal Neerad’s Bachelor Party, had previously worked on the action scenes in several of this year’s biggest movies such as KGF: Chapter 2, Vikram and Beast. This will mark their comeback to Malayalam after a gap of five years.

While Antony is no stranger to action films with him starring in Angamaly Diaries, Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil and Ajagajantharam, this would be Shane’s first all-out action thriller. In a recent interview with OTTplay, the actor, whose previous release was Ullasam, told us, “I believe there is a variety in terms of the scripts being offered to me. People now are coming up with new concepts and things that we haven’t seen before in films.” Shane’s next release Bermuda is set to hit theatres later this month.

Meanwhile, Antony, who has completed shooting for Laila and Poovan, is now gearing up to work with Ajagajantharam director Tinu Pappachan again for a thriller, scripted by Joy Mathew. The film, which also has Kunchacko Boban and Arjun Ashokan, is set to go on floors on July 14 in Kannur.
