Anupam Kher is currently filming in Los Angeles for his forthcoming series, The Son-in-Law. The actor plays a parent in the series. Kher took to his Instagram page to share a photo with Kunal Nayyar, who portrayed the iconic role of Raj Koothrappali in the sitcom The Big Bang Theory.

The two can be seen smiling in the photo, with Kher referring to him as "our very own Delhi boy," and also wrote, "His warmth touched my heart."

Kher, who is quite active on Instagram, always shares his experiences in Los Angeles.

In the preceding post, he also expresses gratitude to Chris Sullivan and his wife for inviting him to their house. It is captioned, "Feelings are mutual, my friend! It was so wonderful to visit your home and to meet @therealrachelsullivan and Bear. With love and prayers always! Till we meet again. That concludes the pilot episode of # thesoninlaw for @abc. It was an honour and a blessing to have the great @anupampkher come to our home to lay his hands upon our child!"

Reema Sampat, Chris Sullivan, Meer Simhan, and Kher appear in the ABC pilot comedy The Son-in-Law.

The show was conceptualised and executive produced by Ajay Sehgal. The plot centres on a couple who repeatedly attempt to convince the girl's father to support their planned marriage. There has been no announcement on the show's release date. The show is expected to premiere in late 2022 or early 2023.

Kher has also starred in A Family Man, Silver Linings Playbook, and several other films. He recently appeared in Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files, which is currently streaming on ZEE5 after a successful theatrical run.
