Anupama Parameswaran joins Sharwanand for Sampath Nandi’s biggie–Details Inside

DJ Tillu was a smash hit and made Neha Sshetty a popular name in Telugu cinema. The sequel, Tillu Square, featured Anupama Parameswaran in a bold avatar, and she created quite a sensation with her striking new look. Everyone believed that Anupama would continue to do bold roles, but that did not happen. The Premam star instead signed an off-beat film titled Paradha, directed by Praveen Kadregula, who made the critically acclaimed film Mail.

Anupama Parameswaran signs a biggie in Telugu

Now, Anupama has shocked one and all as she has signed yet another realistic drama in Telugu. Going into details, Sampath Nandi, who last made the flop film Odela 2 with Tamannaah Bhatia, has cast Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead in his next. The announcement was made today, and Anupama was seen sporting a retro look.

The film stars popular hero Sharwanand as the male lead, marking the second time Anupama is pairing up with him after Shatamanam Bhavati. Touted to be a period drama, the film will be produced by popular producer KK Radha Mohan. Sankranthiki Vasthunnam fame Bheems Ceciroleo will compose the music for this big-budget film.

Anupama Parameswaran will next be seen in Paradha

Anupama is known as a solid performer, and her teaming up with Sharwanand has pleased fans in a big way. She will once again be seen in a retro look in this film. On the other hand, Anupama is gearing up for the release of her new film Paradha, which features a cameo by Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Anupama will play a traditional role in this story about a girl who defies all odds to achieve her goal.

For now, Anupama continues to sign back-to-back biggies in her career. The shooting of this yet-untitled film will kick-start in May 2025. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
