Anupamaa 5th July 2023 Written Update: Witness the most UNEXPECTED twist till date, Maaya DIES while saving Anupamaa’s life!

The day starts off with a romantic ‘only-we-moment’ between Anuj and Anupamaa. Just as when they are talking about their future plans after they start living apart, Maaya runs searching for her fanatically. Anuj tells Anupamaa that, in case he misses her, he will come to see her in USA, but won’t meet her as she may get disturbed. He says that he will se her from far just like he used to do in college. While they are talking, Maaya calls up Anuj and requests him to allow her to meet Anupamaa just once. She assures Anuj that, even though she knows that he may not trust her, but she assures that she wont hurt Anupamaa.

She comes rushing to meet Anupamaa and falls at her feet and sincerely asks for forgiveness from Anupamaa. She recalls all the past incidents and keeps on asking for forgiveness. She then, asks forgiveness from Anuj also. She says that, she is guilty of all the problems which got caused in their lives. Maaya also says that, her very own daughter chhoti Anu had told her that she just does not like her and that she hates her. Maaya says that the very moment she heard that, her entire world came crashing down. Maaya, then, drowns in a pool of guilt and tells Anupamaa to stop and cancel her America trip. The reason that she cites for Anupamaa to cancel her America trip is that, back home (in India), chhoti Anu and Anuj need her the most.

Amidst this conversation, Maaya’s health condition starts deteriorating and she starts coughing profusely. Seeing her health condition, Anupamaa goes to get some water for her to drink. But what she does not realise is that, she is standing in the way of a speeding truck. Seeing Anupamaa amidst the road, Maaya quickly sets into action and she pushes Anupamaa from the middle of the road. BUT… while doing so, the truck hits Maaya and she dies on the spot. And when Anupamaa opens her wrist, she realises that Maaya had given her the Lord Ganpati Bappa’s divine idol which she had given to Maaya for protection.

SPOILER ALERT: During Maaya’s condolence meet, Barkhaa starts her game play by indirectly hinting that chhoti Anu will be all alone without both her mothers as one mother had passed away and the other mother will eb off to USA. Will this make Anupamaa change her mind of going to America is what remains to be seen.
