Aneri Vajani, who received a lot of love and appreciation for her role Malvika in the famous TV drama, Anupamaa, has called it quits. The actress shot her last episode recently and said she has not intent to come back to the show, which features Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna and Sudhanshu Pandey.

Aneri recently spoke to ETimes about her experience working on the programme and why she will not return to the show again. Speaking about the experience, Aneri said when she got a call from the producer Rajan Shahi who explained the role to her, she felt she could explore it a lot as an artist. Malvika's role represents the unpleasant side of domestic abuse, which was a big thing for both the show and her as an actress.

The actress had taken a break in between and that is why she was not seen in the show for a while. She was then recently seen portraying Malvika again in the episodes of Anupamaa and Anuj's wedding preparations. While the actress tried to explain that she was on a brief sabbatical, when the producers asked whether she wanted to return, she felt she should but now she said, "Par ab khatam ho gaya hai and there is no scope of coming back to the show." According to the actress, she participated in Anupama and Anuj's pre-wedding traditions. "I will enjoy the wedding from Cape Town," the actress said.

Aneri will now appear in Rohit Shetty-hosted show, Khatron Ke Khiladi season 12. This is the actress's first adventure reality series, and she has been preparing in the gym because she has never been an adventurer before. "Initially, I was skeptical whether I would be able to do it but once I made up my mind, I put my heart and soul into it," she said.

The actress, who has been part of the hit television programmes such as Beyhadh and Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, added that she hopes to play a prominent and central part in her future ventures.
