Anupamaa: Anuj is still furious with Anupama

Leela approaches Anuj and Anupama with her bags all packed and, to everyone’s shock, declares that she will leave, after Anuj’s outburst over what happened the previous day. While Anupama and Adhik try to calm Baa down, Anuj is seen to still be angry.

Baa is incessant on leaving, and Anuj says that he will not stop her. Suddenly Dimple decides to try and tell Baa how Anuj and Anupama love Baa. In the end, Dimple decides to forcefully, yet playfully, take away Baa’s bags and thus stops the latter from leaving.

Anupama thinks about how harshly Anuj had talked to her about her giving too much importance to the Shahs, and breaks down. Just then Kavya calls her up and announces that she and Vanraj have finally gotten jobs.

Kavya talks about how she and Vanraj are finally getting a break from family to spend some time together, making Anupama think about all the times she had put the Shahs over Anuj’s wishes. As Kavya declares that she and Vanraj will stay at Delhi, and Anupama will be there if the rest of the Shahs need anything, Anupama remembers the struggles she went through just to be with Anuj. She cries thinking about the rift between them.

As Anuj is about to go to office, he sees his house ridden with the Shahs, as well as the Mehtas. As Anupama tries to reconcile with Anuj, he gives her the cold shoulder, and despite the family asking him to stay, he goes to the office.

Vanraj and Kavya’s relationship is seen to be getting better after getting some time away from the family. He still worries about what must be troubling Baa.

When Dimple suggests that the family do something together to celebrate New Year’s, but then each of them talk about how they have different places to go. Kinjal suggests that Choti Anu be with them, but Anuj staunchly disagrees.
