Anupamaa: As everyone supports Anupama’s college venture, Pakhi is furious

Anuj hands over Anupama the college application form, saying that he wants her to fulfill all her dreams and have no regrets about it. Anupama is choked with emotion, and recalls all the times her family had chided for her lack of education. Anupama is overjoyed and thanks Anuj for his lovely gift.

Pakhi calls up Adhik and wishes him on Dhanteras. She talks about how she cannot wait to get married to him and says that she does not care for a career or anything else. She says that she wants to be a housewife and her only dream is to become Adhik’s wife.

Anuj announces to the family that Anupama will going to college. Everyone except for Barkha is happy for her, and Barkha asks what the necessity for it is, since Anupama is already taking care of so much. Anupama explains how necessary it is for every woman to get a good education. When everyone congratulates her, she also expresses her gratitude to Anuj for believing in her. Barkha wishes Adhik had given her the kind of support Anuj gives to Anupama.

Pakhi is shocked to hear that Anupama will start studying in the former’s college. Everyone in the Shah family is happy for Anupama, except for Pakhi and Baa, and the latter asks the need for it at Anupama’s age. Kavya reminds Baa how she had supported Anupama’s desire to get an education when they were all at the resort together and praises Anupama. Hasmukh blames himself for breaking the promise he gave to Anupama that he would let her study after getting married.

Anupama says that it was important to inform the Shahs of Adhik, Ankush and Barkha’s plotting, and they decide to tell the Shahs the whole truth after Diwali. As Anupama’s first day of college finally arrives, Anuj is all set to take her to college in style, atop his bike.
