Anupamaa: Barkha furiously plans to ruin Pakhi-Adhik’s wedding

Anupama finally puts her foot down when it comes to Pakhi’s unreasonable demands. When the young woman begs and pleads to Anuj to allow her to have an extravagant wedding, Anupama intervenes and says a firm no. She criticises Pakhi for making big demands from her family despite putting them through so much.

When Barkha adds to the criticisms, Pakhi raises her voice, leaving everyone shocked. Anupama scolds her daughter yet again. As Pakhi is about to say more, Adhik holds her back, thanks Anupama and says that they should be grateful that the family is accepting their marriage. Adhik assures Pakhi that they will have a grand party instead, which he will pay for with his savings. Barkha starts planning on how she can ruin the wedding.

Adhik joins Anuj’s office, and Pakhi packs everyone’s lunch boxes. Baa calls Anupama for discussing the wedding, who cuts the call as she does not want to let anything come in the way of her college studies. Baa complains that everyone in the colony has started mocking her, because of the elopements in the Shah house. Kavya suggests that they also plan a Sangeeth and Mehendi ceremony as well, but Vanraj refuses to give in.

Barkha tries her best to put a rift between Pakhi and Adhik, and tries to call up Adhik’s friends. Her plans are interrupted by Ankush, who warns her not to do anything stupid.

Anupama’s second day of class witnesses her get special appreciation from her teacher for her project work. The teacher discusses the parallels between business and household work.

Barkha brings some of her friends home, who spot and ask about Pakhi, leaving Barkha perplexed.

Anupama invites everyone in her class to her daughter’s wedding. As the teacher tells her that she ought to take a leave only on the day of the wedding, Anupama wonders how she will explain things to the family.
