Anupamaa: In the face of Pakhi’s stubborn demands, Anupama puts her foot down

Anupama is in a happy mood as her mother and brother visit her for the Bhai Dooj festivities. Pakhi and Adhik too are delighted as Bhanesh seems to accept their relationship.

Dolly and her daughter arrive at the Shah house as well for the Bhai Dooj festivities, and the latter asks about Pakhi, leading to awkwardness. Everyone else in the family is also feeling Pakhi’s absence.

Pakhi also misses her brothers, and Adhik promises that she will definitely get the chance to celebrate the next one with her brothers. Anupama comforts her daughter, while Barkha taunts her. Pakhi is pleasantly surprised to see Samar and Paritosh at the Kapadia house, and it is revealed that Vanraj sent them there to comfort Pakhi. The trio pull each other’s legs and have fun. Adhik tries to make peace with Barkha, but she refuses.

Kavya asks Vanraj if there isn't even a small part of him that wishes Pakhi was with them, and the rest of the family answer for him, that they do.

Paritosh talks about his time at the retreat, talking about how peaceful it was and how it gave him the time to think about all the things he did wrong. He revealed that even though he wanted to contact Kinjal, he wanted to respect her need for space.

Baa and Hasmukh reveal that the pandit has found a date four days later. Anupama informs her family about the news, and Anuj declares that the arrangements be made immediately. Anupama says that the family wants the wedding to be held at the house, which dispelases Pakhi. She tells her family that she wants the wedding to be held at a better venue, and not the ‘old fashioned’ house.

Everyone else tries to advise Pakhi, who bursts into tears. Seeing her cry, Anuj melts and gives in to the young woman’s demands. Anupama puts her foot down and declares that for once, Pakhi will not get things her way.
