Anupamaa: Paritosh kidnaps Pari, Anupama enlists divine help to find her granddaughter

The last episode of Anupamaa saw the highly awaited Navratri event become marred by tragedy, as Pari suddenly goes missing. It turns out that Paritosh, in his grief and frustration, has kidnapped the baby and left a note that said that he would keep his daughter away from Kinjal at all costs, so that she would feel the same pain that she caused him.

Anupama and the Shahs set out in search for Paritosh, who is hiding in a temple with the baby. When Anupama goes to pray, she spots Pari’s toy and realises that Paritosh has been there.

Rakhi fears that Kinjal will lose trust in the former after knowing that Pari is missing. Rakhi’s fears come true, as Kinjal breaks down hearing the news, and blames Rakhi for the chaos happening.

Vanraj laments how Paritosh turned out, and says that his son filled him with shame. Baa tries to defend Paritosh as much as possible, and says that even though his grandson was wrong, he only did it for his daughter’s sake. Rakhi threatens to send Paritosh to jail. The Shahs argue with one another about Paritosh, with Baa supporting him throughout.

Meanwhile, Anupama finally finds Paritosh and Pari. She decides to proceed with caution, being well aware that Paritosh might try to flee if he sees her. However, her attempts to sneak up on him fail, as Paritosh spots her just as she is about to take Pari away.

It seems that Paritosh’s grief and exasperation will not end anytime soon, as the promo for an upcoming episode shows Anupama’s eldest son fall at his mother’s feet and beg the entire family for forgiveness.

Anupamaa features Rupali Ganguly as the titular character. Gaurav Khanna, Sudhanshu Pandey, Nidhi Shah and Ashish Mehrotra also star in pivotal roles.The series is available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
