Anupamaa Written Update August 1, 2023: Anupama SCHOOLS Kaavya saying she is only pregnant and not handicapped, Vanraj overhears their discussion

The day starts off with an extremely personal and a heartfelt conversation between Anupama and Kaavya. Just like yesterday, Kaavya continues telling Anupamaa how ‘bechaari’ (helpless) she is and how the family did not accept her, despite the fact that she always delivered whenever there was a need to.

She adds that, even though it took time for her to come in alignment with the Shah family, still, she tried her level best and did everything possible for her to feel in unison with the Shah family and vice versa. She also adds that, despite all her efforts to prove herself as an ideal daughter in law of the Shah family, still, she was not accepted by any of Shah’s family.

To which, the super-strong Anupamaa tells Kaavya to do an introspection about her own self and her life. She, very clearly and categorically tells Kaavya that the only reason for which the Shah family did not accept her (Kaavya) as their family member was because she had broken her (Anupamaa’s) house and married life. Had it known been for her hidden agenda of secretly loving Vanraj and not being a housebreaker and marriage breaker, she would definitely have been accepted by each and every one in the Shah family, says Anupamaa to Kaavya.

And when Kaavya starts speaking about the emotional torture that she had undergone as a woman, Anupamaa, very clearly mentions to her, she should stop playing the woman’s card and also the victim card. She adds that she cannot hide all her mistakes and wrongdoings under the pretext of being a woman.

Anupamaa, then, reminds Kaavya that, when she (Kaavya) was having an affair with a married man (Vanraj Shah), even she (Anupamaa) was a woman. But she chose to not rant over the wrongdoings, but, walk successfully even if it was an individual walk. Anupamaa, then, reminds Kaavya that she is pregnant and not handicapped that she cannot find a way to feed herself and take care of her baby, if Vanraj gets to know about the truth of the child.

Little do the two ladies (Anupamaa and Kaavya) know that Vanraj happens to listen to all the conversation about the child not being his, but, of Anirudh. What path will Vanraj take now and which direction the forthcoming episodes of Anupamaa will go is what remains to be seen.
