Anupamaa written update July 22, 2023: Gurumaa makes Anupamaa dance to Sheela Ki Jawaani! Read to know why!

The day starts off with Guru Maa Maalti Devi getting a phone call that ‘the job is done’. Hearing that, Guru Maa Maalti Devi becomes super happy. At the same time, Anupmaa stands in front of Guru Maa Maalti Devi. Seeing her before her, Guru Maa Maalti Devi asks Anupamaa if she has come to ask for forgiveness. And when Anupamaa says yes, Guru Maa Maalti Devi gives her a ‘task’ of Anupamaa dancing to the modern-day songs like ‘Sheela Ki Jawaani’, ‘Kamariya’, ‘Rang De’, ‘Channe ke khet mein’, Nach le’, ‘Dola Re’.

Amidst these modern-day commercial tracks, Guru Maa Maalti Devi inserts a few olden golden classics. All of these were her attempts to make Anupamaa endlessly tiresome. Despite all of this, Anupamaa aces it like she always had. Seeing all this, Nakul tells Guru Maa Maalti Devi that she is not just insulting Anupamaa, but also insulting the pious dance form as well. Meanwhile, everyone is super tensed up about Anupamaa and the result of her meeting with Guru Maa Maalti Devi.

After having danced continuously for many hours on various tracks, Anupamaa becomes extremely tired and exhausted. Because of the tiredness and exhaustion, Anupamaa lands up falling at the feet of Guru Maa Maalti Devi. Seeing Anupamaa’s relentless efforts to seek forgiveness, Guru Maa Maalti Devi lays down a condition before Anupamaa. And if at all, Anupamaa fulfils that laid condition, only then, Guru Maa Maalti Devi says that she will be able to forgive her.

Anupamaa, being the pious soul that she is, agrees to Guru Maa Maalti Devi’s condition even without hearing it out. And when Anupamaa tells Guru Maa Maalti Devi that she is ready for any condition that will be laid before her, Guru Maa Maalti Devi says that, she had forgone her (Guru Maa Maalti Devi) for the sake of her family. That’s why she (Guru Maa Maalti Devi) now wants Anupamaa to forgo all her relationships and become in unison with Gurukul. Guru Maa Maalti Devi adds that only if her answer is yes and she is ready to fulfil that condition, she will be forgiven.
