Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, doesn't follow the rules. His portrayals of society's dark side in his films have a distinct fanbase and are well-liked, but they also draw a lot of criticism. The Gangs of Wasseypur director recently opened up in an interview and discussed his relationships with a handful of his coworkers in the business, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. He also discussed the period in which he developed an obsession with Nora Fatehi, the current dancing queen.
Before making the switch to writing for the big screen, Kashyap started by writing television shows. He even contributed to the 1998 cult movie Satya by Ram Gopal Varma. He has made several connections in the entertainment industry over the years.
In a recent interview with Samdish on Unfiltered, Kashyap discussed his relationship with Shah Rukh Khan and described how the actor has become like a big brother to him. Kashyap said, “Yes, I have thought of working with him a lot of times. He has been my college senior, and whenever he calls, I stand up while I pick the call. He is like a big brother to me. He has given up on me, and he keeps telling me what not to do. He told me why I should not be on Twitter. Everybody who cares about me wants me to see life the way they do.”
Anurag Kashyap also recalled how he was fired from Salman Khan's Tere Naam because he asked the actor to grow chest hair.
Anurag Kashyap also talked about his obsession with Nora Fatehi's dance reels during the "Nora Phase." He was addicted to Hrithik Roshan's dancing videos as well as hers. He told the host, “I watch a lot of reels. Once, I was obsessed with Nora Fatehi’s dance reels. Now I watch food reels. I had a Nora Fatehi Phase.”
