She captioned the post stating, "Playing through sickness with this composure. Inspiring me always".

On the professional front, even though Anushka Sharma had made a special appearance in the film ‘Qala’, which had starred Babil Khan and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles, the audiences have been terribly missing her full-fledged role on the silver screen after her last release ‘Zero’ (which was released in 2018). The film ‘Zero’ was directed by Aanand L. Rai and had starred Shah Rukh Khan alongwith Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Abhay Deol and R. Madhavan.

Anushka Sharma is now gearing up for her next film ‘Chakda Xpress’, which will see her portray the role of the ace cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the latter’s biopic. in a recent interview with Grazia, Anushka Sharma said, “The entire last year went into filming Chakda. I’d finish shooting and would have only that much time to spend time with my daughter, feed her dinner, and follow her night-time routine, and go to bed early soon after her." She had even added that, “I don’t think I found time to do anything else. I’m okay to do more movies but only if it’s worth taking my time out and if it makes sense. I don’t want to do movies just to stay in the game – I’m very clear about that. It would have to be a film like ‘Chakda’.”
