Looks like all is not well in the lives of actors Anushka Sharma and Amitabh Bachchan. On May 15, news developments arrived wherein popular Bollywood actors Anushka Sharma and Amitabh Bachchan, in two separate incidents, were riding a bike in Mumbai without wearing a helmet. While some fans appreciated the actors for ditching travelling by luxury cars, others expressed concerns about celebrities not wearing a helmet.

The videos of the developments were doing rounds on social media yesterday. And now, in a fresh development, Mumbai Police has taken action against the stars for not wearing helmets on the streets of Mumbai while riding a bike.

Confirming that police are likely to take action soon on the matter, news portal Times Now reported, “Mumbai Police: We have shared this with the traffic branch. From the looks of it, the traffic police are likely to take action against Amitabh and Anushka."

This development comes just before Anushka is scheduled to visit France to attend the Cannes Film Festival that is scheduled to commence from today. Manushi Chhillar, Esha Gupta, Urvashi Rautela, Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Mrunal Thakur, Guneet Monga, and Madhur Bhandarkar are also among those celebrities who will be attending the prestigious event.

On Instagram yesterday, Bachchan shared a picture of him riding a bike with a stranger. The star captioned: “Thank you for the ride buddy... don’t know you... but you obliged and got me on time to the location of work... faster and in avoidance of the unsolvable traffic jams ... thank you capped, shorts and yellowed T-shirt owner."

Meanwhile on the work front, Anushka Sharma will be seen next in Chakda Xpress. Bachchan, on the other hand, will be seen in the film Project K where he will feature alongside actors Deepika Padukone and Prabhas in the lead role.
