Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma impressed with their on-screen chemistry in Rajkumar Hirani’s PK in 2014. The latest rumours suggest that the duo will reunite for director RS Prasanna’s next.

According to reports, RS Prasanna is working on a film that is based on the Spanish film, Campeones. A news portal has reported that the director has asked Anushka Sharma to take the lead opposite Khan.

However, as reported by Times of India, a trade source said, "Aamir and Anushka’s reunion is definitely highly awaited but unfortunately it’s not happening this time! That’s for certain. So, this is just industry gossip.”

Aamir Khan, who celebrated his birthday earlier this week, opened up about his next project. The actor said that he has not announced his next film yet but the planning is on and that he would let us know soon.

Campeones is a Spanish comedy drama directed by Javier Fesser which follows a drunk and arrogant basketball assistant coach who is forced to do community service by working with Los Amigos, a team of people with differently abled people.

Released in 2018, the film received critical acclaim and was also the most successful film in the Spanish box office following its release.
